What is Health Coaching (and How Can It Help You)?

I often get asked, “What exactly is health coaching?” The simplest way I can put it is this:
Health coaching is about helping you bridge the gap between what you know you “should” be doing for your health and actually making it happen in a way that feels possible, enjoyable, and sustainable.
Most of us already know the basics: eat better, move more, manage stress, get enough sleep but knowing isn’t the problem, right? The challenge is in the how.
That’s where coaching comes in.
What Health Coaching Looks Like
Think of it as having a relaxed, supportive conversation with someone who is genuinely interested in you, your habits, your challenges, your goalsand your life.
In our sessions at LCNH, we might talk about things like:
It’s not about me giving you a lecture. It’s about us figuring out together, what works best for you. I’m all about making change more fun by doing it in a way that suits your life and personality. I do this by exercising compassionate curiosity in a non-judgmental way, so you can get creative in solving those problems.
